As a man that has back issues and knee issues and I weigh 478 pounds. I had a very hard time finding toilet seats that would withstand the pressure that I put upon them. I probably went through five or six toilet seats a year. That gets a little expensive. I could've probably got away with the toilet seat that supported 800 pounds but I went ahead went with the big John.

This is the sturdiest toilet seat I have ever sat on it feels so sturdy that I don't think you could even fall off of it. It is a little large but that's good because my behind is large.

The hardware is exceptionally good. I've never seen anything like it. I don't think there is any way to break this toilet seat.

When I saw this item in the catalog, I became very interested. I have always disliked the point that (as a tall, obesis, disable person with bad knees) the small plasic seat on my apartment home short toilet was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and sometimes hard to rise up from. I thought that it was a little expensive. BUT, I got it. It fits my standard toilet. It added height to my sit making it easier to get back up. The seat is VERY COMFORTABLE and the hole is bigger (which is nice). I AM LOVING IT! Totally worth the money!

The extra inches makes it easier to get up and down. Very sturdy, no worries about breaking it.

I bought this product because I read other reviews about how sturdy it is. I am 400lbs and regular seats do not support my weight anymore without eventually cracking. So far I had this seat installed for a week and it is working out fine. It looks funny cause its unusually big but it works thats the important thing. It is easy to install. Only thing is that the seat is raised a little. But otherwise I love it its sturdy.

I bought this with a 40% off coupon so it was a great deal. I expected guests to make comments but so far nothing has been said. Perhaps they are too kind. The seat sits higher. Standing up is very easy. It dwarfs my small bathroom yet still fits nicely in the cramped space. Anyone one who is larger, handicapped or has trouble sitting comfortably will love this seat.

Purchased this for my disabled adult daughter and could not be happier. Was easy to install and is a wonderful assist for her. I no longer have to raise both seats for her and this is a well made product. I highly recommend this product.

Great product. Substantial, well designed and made. Size is as described. Could not use in our small room due to the 2-3 inch overhang.
