        i started using with my niece and nephew, then got 2 new dogs and one came to us with a weak bladder. they have saved my mattress at least 20 times, but they are not chew proof.

                I bought 2 of these, one for my granddaughter's first "big girl" bed, and one for the adult bed where she often naps. The pads are soft and should be comfortable. There is a *slight* crackly sound, but not enough to be annoying, unlike many other vinyl products. Will protect my son's new mattress from leaks! :-)
