These plate cradles worked great for me. I was trying to make more space in cabinet shelves and purchased the cradles to stack dinner plates in. I will also purchase more for storage container tops.

This item is great however if you have the thick, stoneware plates a setting of 8 is a little tight.

I had two different kinds of plates stacked on top of each other. Now, with the plate cradles I don't have to move the top ones to get to the bottom ones.

This is a practical product designed to mimimize horizontal space needed to store dishes or lids. Be careful to measure shelves that allow for vertical height of dishes or lids with 5/8 inch base for the product. It is a great organization idea.

What is great about this product I no longer need to lift heavy plates that were stacked before, now I can reach them much easier to take out or put them back. I'm going to order the salad plates now.

I had planned to use them in my kitchen cabinets, however the larger one wouldn't fit my shelves, may use them in my motor home. They are a handy space saver.
