      this is great. Use it to put bacon grease gathered from cooking bacon everyday. Filter allows me to reuse the grease and add flavor to saute veggie and items. Once it is full easy to empty

        Got this for my husband for his new deep fryer. As we have to empty the oil out of it each time, the size of this one was very disappointing. I might just use this as a strainer then find a larger container that the lids fits tightly on.
        This lid just lays across the top and it will spill if bumped. Manufacturer should make different sizes for different oil amounts and include a screw on lid or a strudy plastic snap on lid.
