I am a big gal with sore knees. This cycle is a great way to get me exercising when I am not motivated to do so. When I am tired of peddling at my pace, the cycle keeps moving my legs while I basically rest. I have limp noodle legs when finished using it so I feel like I've had a workout. The slight drawback is when the cycle is on and I am watching tv, it makes my tv picture "staticky". I've plugged it into different outlets and this still happens..

We go to the gym twice a week to work out, but this just helps my legs the other days of the weeks. Keeps the circulation going well but isn't hard on my knees. Easy to operate. You can do this while watching television if you want!

I had purchased two Freedom Cycles, one for my mother-in-law, and one for myself.I had seen this exerciser offered, and thought it would be a great Christmas gift for my mother-in-law, who suffers from arthritis and diabetic neuropathy. She took a fall that landed her in the hospital in late November, so we gave her this exerciser when she was released. She has a physical therapist from the hospital who comes to direct her strength exercises, and when he saw this exerciser, was happy she could use it in addition to her other exercises. It improves circulation, and helps with her neuropathy. We are all very pleased with the purchase!!!
