I've read several of these other reviews, and am surprised at some of the complaints, such as needing to keep the "pusher" poised over the top or some of the fruit will pop out! You're putting fruits in one direction into a blade spinning at 3600rpms! Unless they are pushed down, they are going to head up! You don't need to do anything but keep it lightly over the top with one hand while getting another fruit to put in there. Simple. Also, you only need to remove big seeds like cherry or peach pits, not ALL seeds, which makes sense. A peach pit will kill most blades. You really need to read the whole booklet, not just parts of it!

On the whole, this is a great machine! A few yrs. ago, I had an older style juicer, and nearly half of what went in as fruit came out as pulp! Wet, nasty pulp not usable for anything! But Jack LL's machine puts out so little pulp in proportion to how much fruit goes in, and that pulp is DRY too!

Finally, Jack LL's company does make a special brush for cleaning that mesh basket with the tiny little holes, but of course, it doesn't come with the machine! They charge for additional goodies, and for replacement parts on their website, and one of the kits has a brush, and a platform to set the machine on so you can put taller containers under the spout. It also contains a place for a glass to sit under the spout, that will collect the drips. It's a worthwhile kit and not too expensive.

Honest, I don't work for "Jack LL" I'm a disabled woman who wanted to try juicing again, and found a great juicer to do it with! Of course it has to be taken apart to clean it, but all but the base can go in the dishwasher, or just a hot water rinse will take care of most of it. I put it back together again in a jiffy, and I'm not good at that kind of thing! If it's together wrong, it won't turn on so you don't get hit with flying parts!
These juices are unlike anything I've tasted before and they are addictive! You need to consume the stuff fast or freeze it, so I'm making frozen popscicle style treats, slushes, etc. Adding sparking water can be yummy too!

It may take one or two times using it to get the hang of it, but once you have it down, you get excited about the different combos you can make, all of the delicious! I've yet to make one that was nasty tasting! This machine is a blast!

The product is great...But I ordered the stainless one and got the white plastic twice..So I really think they did'nt have the stainlessteal...I called them and they told me they sent the stainless one...but again I got the plastic one...So I'm keeping this one and only paying for the plastic....But it does work great...

Nice product and easy to use. The only thing I was disappointed with is the amount of pulp that is left behind. On the other hand, the cookbook that comes with the product does give some good ideas on what to do with the pulp.

I was very dissapointed in this machine. For years I wanted it. The video and instructions on TV did not tell you cleaning it you would have to unscrew this or that to remove the inside to clean it. And if you don't put the veggies in or fruit just the right way they pop right out! Oh, it could be quieter. But the juice you can make is great we couldn't stop drinking it, made celery, apple, and carrots mixed up! I have watched Jack all my life since I was a kid...so mainly I bought it to have a little piece of history at the same time, it was a let down to know the machine could have been much better of a product!I wish I was told I would have to cut out all the seeds, and the stems too. They show whole veggies being used but it is only certain ones you can do that with. And it has limited situations so you must read the instructions carefully. NO BANANAS etc...
I would recommend it for the fresh juice but not for the quality!

Everyone in my family makes their own special concoctions and as long as you add an apple everything tastes delicious!I add the pulp to salads and make a slaw salad out of it too ...ive added it to everything i cook in small amounts and no complaints .I do get tired of being the only one cleaning it,but its really simple to clean and my only complaint is that it should come with a little scrub brush to help clean the basket that has some sharp ness to it and is hard to get the pulp off of.Stop and clean the pulp out if the machine starts slowing down.I love Jack Lalane!
