WHAT YOU HAVE HERE IS AN 81 YEAR OLD MAN. I MADE ONE MODIFICATION TO YOUR TOOL THAT GIVES IT A NEW DIMENSION. IN SHORT I MAGNETIZED ONE OF THE CUPS AND I NOW CAN EASILY PICK UP FLAT WASHERS, SMALL NAILS, ETC. THAT END UP ON MY SHOP FLOOR. IT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE NORMAL USE OF THE TOOL IF ANYONE FROM YOUR COMPANY HAS ANY INTEREST IN THE DETAILS I WOULD BE HAPPY TO SHARE.

i am 63yrs full time wheelchair. it was a blessing at first bur when the black pads kept
coming off the tool became harder to use. i did try
to rescrew them on, then a friend helped me to glue them on. the tiny screw and ackward pad
hurt my hands to have to keep doing this. its a good prdt i just wish the tool came with spare
black pads. thank you for listenng to me wheels

This is great for getting those items that have falen behind the sofa or any other place that is difficult to reach wthout moving furniture. One can actually pick up a penny from the floor. It can't handle anythig too heavy (5 pounds might be the maxium or even too heavy give or take a little). As the product aged it began loosing the screws attaching suction cups on the end of the device that provide the precsion needed for picking up small objects. I recently lost one of the two screws after years of regular use and am now replacing the unit for the first time. The device has a red plastic hinge in the middle that doesn't fold completely, but it helps to bend it close to 90 degress allowing easy pick up from high shelves or around other bends in the house. The plastic hinge could be of higher quality as well as the attachement of the suction cups, but it is well worth more than twice the [$]price. My first unit lasted for at least 5 years.I don't think I would ever want to be with out this handy tool, and I expect anyone else would feel the same after using it a while.

My husband is wheelchair bound and needs help in reaching areas he can't get to. This gopher tool has suction cups on the pincers and he is able to pick up even small scraps of paper from the floor, and also to take things from shelves that are out of his reach. It also folds in half so he can carry it in the pocket on the back of his chair. We love it.

Replaced the one I had previously which broke.Pick up things I've dropped on the floor. Reach cans, cups, packages on shelves that are out of my reach. I use a wheelchair and most of the cupboards in my kithen are too high for me to reach without this tool

Simply squeeze 'trigger' and retrieve anything that's just out of reach. Small, compact it's like having a third hand with no mobiltiy limits !!

I will use this tool for many things, I am sure. Only had it a week and I dropped a towel behind the washer. The tool was long enough to reach down behind the washer and retreive the towel. Should have ordered it long before now.
