      The sun hits our bedroom very early in the morning & it is impossible to sleep in. These drapes solved the problem! Great idea for someone who works nightshift & needs to sleep during the day.

        So... I took a chance with these curtains, and *WOW* it really paid off! I live on the 5th floor of loft building which faces East. I get all the morning sun because there are no buildings to block the sunrise, so obviously I was in desparate need of some light blocking curtains. I figured it was worth a shot for less than $20 a panel. These curtains are awesome! They block out a huge amount of light AND they really do help with noise reduction too. I don't know about the "foam backing" in the description, but mine are really thin and flexible. They truly work and I would recommend them for anyone having issues with sun in the bedroom. Additionally, I want to mention that I bought the black ones, so I can only speak about that color and tell you to buy them now! :)
