I use these are window treatment for looks more than for blocking out sun or privacy. They are too shear for that.
However, I have looped them through ornamental hangers over my large bay window in my bedroom and they look great. The colors are bright and true to the cateloge.

I am redecorating two bedrooms on a budget and these panels and scarf valances have helped me create a beautiful setting for both rooms. The chocolate scarf valance with beading on the end was the icing on the cake. Very elegant touch without being gaudy. I found the valance easy to hang, except that I needed a taller ladder.. Love the sheerness of the fabric as it blocks just enough light. I had purdhased some brown sheers but they blocked too much light, so I bought these and I am very happy with them and they are just the right length for my windows..

My daughter loved the pretty, sunny yellow one I got, and will use it as a liner for another set of curtains with tie backs. However, the "sage" oens I got for our living room actually turned out to be a dull dark olive. Big difference from "sage". Not pleased with those.

I like the fact that they bring in enough light to brighten a room but not so much to over heat the room, especially in the summer. Only thing is if you are going to hang them from the lower rod-pocket of the drape(there's 2 pockets),they will be an inch and a half shorter.
I would buy this product again and again

I purchased panels and scarfs for my old apartment and they worked so well. Everyone commented on how nice they looked and how nice they felt. When I moved into my new place I had to get the same curtains but in different colors. Main reason I first chose these panels was for the great choice of colors. I put panels of one color on a window and drape a scarf of another color on top. Looks great.

I bought sevral pairs in three colors. For my bedroom I used a pair of Black on the outside of the rod, and White on the inside, looks fantastic. My room is done in black and white toille, and the sheer panels finish it off nicely. I have some for my guest room, computer room, and TV room. I'll be ordering for the livingroom next. My daughter loved them, and we are in the process of choosing colors for her house. She has about 15 windows...a big BANG for the buck!
