This is a wonderful product! I HATE the way dog food smells, and I have to store it inside my house because I don't have a garage to store it in. My hubbie thought the price was too much, but I disagree. I am glad I bought this storage bin. It really does seal the odors inside and no more smelly dogfood gagging me. This is quite expensive, but wanted to save space, so I bought it to hold a 33 lb. bag of cat food I regularly get. It didn't hold the whole bag and it claims to hold 36 lbs. If the food had bigger pieces, it would have held even less.

It holds a 25 lb bag of dog food perfectly. What I love about it is that its on wheels and has a flip up lid. Easy to pull out when you need to feed your dog and easy to secure and put away. I use these containers for our cats food and litter and I just recently purchased another one because we just got our first puppy so we needed one for the puppy food. I love these containers because they are airtight and keep the food fresh. The reason for the cat litter is because it's portable and I don't have to lift a heavy cat litter bag. I love these fantastic containers because they make life easier for me. I store cat and dog food in the small ones and I can see through the sides how much is in there. Also, I don't worry about ants, roaches and other pests getting into them.
I can also use them to store yarn, scraps, thread and other craft items, protecting them from moths and dust. They would also be ideal for bulky toys such as blocks.
I have pecan trees and i plan to get more containers to store nuts in.
These containers are so perfect for so many different needs. There is no limit to what you can do with them. The only thing i didn't like was the wheels. But they were easy to remove and now the bin stays put, not rolling all around.

Years ago, I purchased a smaller version of this bin (made by the same company) at a big box pet food store (and at a higher price than what is offered here), and have always liked it. Now that I have a large-breed dog, the original bin is far too small for storage of her food.

I was thrilled to see Brylane offer this storage bin in larger sizes, and on wheels to boot! The bin is perfect for keeping a large bag of dog food fresh and safe from pests. There is a rubber seal around the latching lid, sealing the contents in, and the bad stuff out. While the bin is a rather large object (the same size as my kitchen garbage can), the roller wheels on the bottom make scooting it out of the way when not in use very easy.

The storage bin is easy to clean, too, as the lid snaps off for washing.

I am totally satisfied with this bin. Since my original five year old bin is still going strong, now holding cat food, I know that this one will also provide me with years of service.

We use it to hold our large bags of dog food. We own 3 larger breed dogs and they go through a lot of dog food. Naturally, we don't want the bag to sit around, so we pour it into this rolling bin and it is nicely contained and never looks out of place. It is also a wonderful piece of equipment to have if you live in the country as we do and have a slight mouse problem. They can't get into it. So we have outsmarted the mice. The only problem is the odor of the new plastic. I wash it in hot soapy water then leave it outside in the sun for a few days to get rid of it before storing anything edible for the pets.

I love these so much. I have the 30 qt one and the 44 qt. The 30qt one is perfect for holding bird seed and we keep a 20lb bag of cat food in the 44 qt one. This container is much better than the one I had. Contents can be clearly seen. The food is definitely fresher in this container compared to the one I formerly used. I keep a 20lb bag of dog food in it (I bought the 44QT size) and it fits nicely with ample space for an even larger bag. I got it to keep the dog food off the floor and to use it like a big Tupperware - to keep the dog food sealed.

I had to attach the wheels, it was no problem, you just stick them in the holes on the bottom. But, they're the black, plastic ones and two of them do not rotate - they're stuck. This is a lightweight container, though, and it's easy enough to drag around (but in my case I don't need to) but you might want to make sure your wheels work if you have an easily scratched floor.

This is a great buy. This is my second one and use it to store the dog's food. This was cheaper than in the store and a better buy because wheels were included for the 30qt. In the store it was a 27qt with no wheels for the same price.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, my bin came with the rollers and in one piece. It is perfect for what we were needing. It fit under the counter that I hoped it would, and we are still able to open the lid with out pulling it out. I have bought many of these containers. They are wonderful. I buy everything in bulk from dog food to people food. I have one I use for Cat food, we have 15 cats. I have to buy 2 50lb bags of dog food at a time, so we don't use one of these containers for that. We use another one to hold Chicken feed in the barn. We have had our canisters for a couple of years now. I love them. We use the largest one for our dog food. We have 4 fairly large dogs and we must buy in bulk. We use the middle sized one for cat food. 4 cats. We had tried many storage methods instead of those heavy bags. Had problems with bugs and moisture. the bags can tear and even had rodents get into the bags. These canisters solved all of those problems. I am handicaped and could never move the large bags of pet food, but the rollers on these make it easy for me to move them and access them. We actually keep the larger canister on the porch. The food still keeps fresh and bug free. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to store pet food, charcoal, or other bulk items that must be kept dry and bug free.

Works really well for protecting dog food and keeping it fresh. We do still leave the food in the wrapper but also place it in here. A 20lb bag of IAMS fits perfectly. Still looks attractive after several months of use. I was a little concerned about the wheels, merely pop into a hole at the base, but they have worked great. We buy the 44lb bags of dog food and this is perfect to store them in, also leaves enough room to leave the cup I dip with inside. The only thing I can find wrong is, on mine anyway, the latch is not tight enough or secure. One of my dogs can put his nose underneath the handle and waalah the lid pops open. He's done this twice, so I have started rolling it under the table when gone for any period of time or else he would have "open buffet" if he managed to open it again.

I have two of these rolling containers, the 60 pounds capacity size. They are perfect for a fifty pound bag of bird food with some room left for a scooping cup. The container rolls out easily as it is tucked under a counter. We buy dog food in large bags for our three dogs. By the time the food in the bag got to the half way mark the dogs were not as excited about getting their bowls filled with it so I figured it was a bit stale at that point. Used to store bulk pet food. The dog's dish is too heavy for me to handle especially when it's filled, so I move the storage container (it's on wheels)across the kitchen to the feeding area. We are using the bin to store around 36lbs of dog food...makes it convenient to store in case we need to move it around (has wheels, so instead of lugging around a large bag of food, you can wheel the bin around). The only complaint I might make would be that I don't think the seal is that tight (the little hook-thing that closes it is not very tight, and thus, might let air in not keeping food as fresh).

When this arrived at my home, I was skeptical because it didn't appear that it was going to actually fit the 55lb of dog food as advertised but I dumped in the new bag, held my breath, and every last kernal fit in this container. I was lucky in that it just so happens to fit under my shelving by about an inch. No space is wasted.

It rolls out easily on a carpet and rolls back just as easily. It's a simple unit; nothing fancy on it.

The only thing that would make it better would be a tighter locking mechanism. It closes and I don't worry about it opening on its own or anything. But if it fell into...say...a pool - the dog food inside would be ruined. But that's not really an issue for me.
