Bought this pan specifically to make Cinderella's Coach...Instructions for this cake will have you put it on a board 4" wide raised up 1" off the plate...THE CAKE WAS TOO HEAVY....I tried this 2 times thinking I was doing something wrong...it was an "I Love Lucy" episode...the top half of the cake just fell through to the bottom of the cake as I was trying to hold it from falling -- the bottom of the cake just opened up like a flower as the top of the cake sat there in the middle...it was awful... Yes I'll try it again, only this time postioning the cake on a cake plate/pedistal for all over support. Good Luck

My son-in-law is a pro-golfer, I plan to use my pan for making a cake that looks like a golf ball; to celeabrate his next tournament win.
I also plan to make a Cinderella pumpkin cake for my granddaughter's birthday.
I was thinking too that it may work well for making an unusual Monkey bread form.
It could be used to bake a cake for any sport using a ROUND ball.

I bought this for my Boss for his Birthday. He loves the Nordic Ware cake molds. I will be buying more of the Nordic Ware cake molds for him in the future. He loves to cook (gourmet) and loves to bake. I also bought him the train cake mold, since he is a Grandpa to boot.

Thanks a million for having this for me to buy. I want to get the snowman and I believe I saw a xmas tree or something close enough to a tree.

I buttered the interrior, although it is "non-stick", just wanted to be safe. My combo ice cream/cake was great. Plan to use it for a birthday cake for the grandson as he loves the different shapes anytime of the year.

I bought this pan to accommodate my October-born daughter's request for a pumpkin-shaped birthday cake. The cake turned out great since the pan is cast aluminum, which is ideal for good baking results.

Users should make sure the pan is greased-and-floured thoroughly, especially before using for the very first time: its non-stick coating is NOT sufficient to keep most cakes from sticking--but this is true of MOST bakeware. The non-stick coating DOES make clean-up a snap, though!

At 7 inches in diameter, the finished cake is about the size of an average head of lettuce or a small cantalope, and holds its shape very well. Decorate it with orange icing, and it looks just like a pumpkin!

I used two cake mixes so the cake would rise above the cake pan, then I just sliced each cake, even with the top of the cake pan, with a serrated knife so it would give each piece an even edge when putting the two halves together. This worked great, and the pan was wonderful

Love this pan. It has a non stick finish and the cake came out beautifully. I used one cake mix in this pan dividing it into both halfs and should have used two mixes one per side. There is a recipe in the package that comes with it for the icing and it is great. Love my pan and would recomend it to a friend.
