I use the runner on a buffet type table. It is very plush looking, especially for the money; however, if you're looking for primitive country it's not. The colors are rich and on the vivid, yet dark side. It's a very beautiful runner.

My country kitchen has a red rooster motif and the runner and mats finish it off so well. The colors and fabric were much nicier then I expected. My only complaint would be that they have to be dry cleaned but other then that I love them and will order the matching rugs soon.
