I've compared several other companies and Brylan Kitchen has been the only one that had a (from scratch)recipe booklet with its kit and other items which made preparation convenient. I made breakfast for my daughter's family, making two different recipes and they loved them so now I am giving these kits for gifts for my married children and as wedding gifts. I can be as creative or simple as I want~there's no stopping me. The recipes are delicious AND healthy, making it easy for me to substitute ingredients. Tried the cornbread recipe and then used a brownie mix out of the cupboard. What fun little tasty bites..

Have not mastered "turning" with the sticks sent with the product - but a spoon works just as well (just don't scratch the pan).

I was a little leary about buying this because of some negative reviews I read, but I'm so glad I did. It's so quick and easy. I haven't had any trouble at all with sticking or turning the puffs over with the sticks provided. My son thinks its the neatest thing to eat round pancakes and muffins. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the injector that comes with it is very cheaply made and broke before I even got to use it. The pancake Puff pan itself is great though.

My son loves these. My grandmother used to call them eberskeevers. I loved them when she made them and was thrilled to finally find a pan to cook them in. The pan is easy to use and it's fun. You can use it to make things other than pancake puffs too. Use cornbread mix and fill the center with bacon bits or pieces of link sausage and it's a great party treat and easy to make. Also great as a side dish for suppers. The uses are endless and the recipes that come with the pan are great too. If you have kids trust me they will LOVE LOVE LOVE these little pancake puffs. Especially toddler age children. I have children ages 3, 19, 21, and 23 and they all love them and you will too.

The only thing that I did differently was to add a little more sugar to the recipe. The original recipe was a little BLAH but after adding the extra sugar to it; it was really good. I just used the powdered sugar sprinkled on them but I'm looking forward to filling them the next time I make them. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for something different.

I've been using this product for breakfast and it's been a time and portion control saver. As a diabetic it's important to watch your portions. This makes it a no-brainer! It's a quick cooker so you can't walk away from it. The heat is evenly distributed so you don't have the worry of undercooking. Great for making the traditional Danish treat, aebleskiver.
The pan is great (and I love that it came with a handle cover). The accessories, however, could've been of better quality or just left out. I threw away the "injector" because it was so cheap and flimsy. The "turning utensils" are kind of useless as any knife or fork does the trick.
I like the powdered sugar shaker, but I wish that it had come with a cover. I have to empty it out and refill it each time or else put plastic wrap over, which is a pain.
Also the recipe book wasn't that great, bad pictures and no recipes for what the pan was originally intended for - aebleskiver.
I say: ditch the injector and add a cover for the shaker!
Ok, that was a lot of complaining, but the pan is AWESOME! :) Get the pan for the pan, not for the accessories.

I bought this for my husband because he is known as the pancake king(at least in our house). He loved it and went crazy trying all sorts of things. My favorite was the brownie puffs(he did have to put them in the oven to get them to turn out the way he wanted though). They're awesome.

What a fun product. My 2 boys had been begging me to order this off of the infomercial. I was hesitant. It takes a time or two to get use to using it, but the smiles on their faces when you hand them the plate of puffs is worth it. We even made them with chocolate cake mix and filled them with pudding. The 5 year old asks for them almost everyday.

You do have to watch the heat as the pan retains heat quickly. You have to be careful putting it on the burner evenly, or one side will cook too fast. The handle is very hot as it is made with the cast iron, but it comes with a mitt to put on it.

The extruder is easy to fill and to use on the puffs. Don't put in too much or you will have a pancake puff blowout.

Way too much fun to have on a Saturday morning with the kids. Well worth the purchase price when you get repaid with smiles and excitement.

Great product....will buy another one.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for our 4 year old little girl, she was captured by the inviting commercials. Fun activity for kids and families to do together. The puffs taste all depends on the batter you use. If you make a great pancake batter they taste pretty good, store bought batter not so good. My daughter loved adding toppings or drizzeling stuff on top. The recipe book and instructions were worthless and there were no instructions on how to use the injector for best results.

I like this, but the center seems to get hotter, logically, so you have to "keep on the move" to keep from burning the middle puff.
I was disappointed that there weren't any directions for the filling the center.
They turn out good though!
I bought it to cook for my 2 toddlers. Not as big of a hit as I expected, but they're very tasty! =0)

Works very well, a little tricky to learn to turn the puffs but once you get it it's great. Warm slowly, because once it gets to hot it stays that way for a long time. Kids love to fill them, the filling syringe makes it easy for the kids to help.

I use it for anytime. It easy to use and clean sometimes it might get messy. But that's the fun when making the puffs. I have not used the puff much, but use it for church suppers and gifts, and having fun making all the puffs and coming up with different ways to make puffs. I use the product to prepare breakfast on the weekend. People like the different serving of basic pancakes. The only thing I find disappointing is the recipe book; there are no clear instructions for infusing fillings into the puffs. I am still experimenting with the best way to do this: when you first fill the puff bin; before you turn the puff; after they have completed cooking. Each has its benefits and drawbacks. But, all in all, a fun new way to cook.

I have not had a chance to use it yet.
