This pan melted the chocolate very quickly, when I was done, all I did was put hot water in it till I was finished and then it washed out great.

I use this product to melt cheeses and chocolate so they won't burn. My old double-boiler had a pan within a pan that got very hot to touch, so this is great with the 2 handles to grip and not get burned.

I wanted a double boiler for a recipe I saw. I can't find the recipe now but I've used it for popping corn and it's great for that for sure! I usually like heavier pans but it seems this set will do the job as a double boiler well!

I love this double boiler. It heats up quickly and evenly on chocolates which makes things so easy. The only con I have is that the handles get hot. I mean watch out. Still I love this product and would recommend it to anyone. I even gave it as a gift.
