I like the size and shape of the product. It works very well and gets the job done.

However... it has white writing ALL over it! This is not portrayed in the picture of the kettle. I'm trying to figure out a way to get rid of all the warnings and instructions etc. that is all over it. It makes it unattractive for entertaining.

One other con is that you need an oven mitt to touch the handle once it's done boiling. I've never had a kettle that I couldn't just pick up by the handle.

It gets the job done, but I'm disappointed in how it differs from what is advertised.

I like the design of the teapot except for the lid. I feel like it's going to go flying across the room every time I try to remove it to pour the hot water, and wonder if I'm going to get splashed by the boiling water when it pops out. Otherwise, I like the idea and looks of the teapot.

I've been happy with this kettle so far. The glass is easy to clean; the mouth is big enough I can get my hand down inside the kettle. The first time I used it, the whistling stopper was a little difficult to remove, but it has gotten easier over time. It would be nice if this was on a flip-type spring hinge instead of having to remove it to pour out the water. I still enjoy using the kettle, tho. The handle and the stopper do get warm but not hot enough to need a pot holder to handle them.

Use tea kettle daily for hot cocoa and for tea. Have used tea machines and didn't like, can't do one cup. With this I can do one or two cups or twelve when the kids come in from playing in the snow.

I hated to retire my old copper kettle, but without a whistle, water was boiling over everywhere. I was afraid of the glass and didn't "get" how this one could work by just looking at the picture. However, the top pops out (with no steam burns!) and the water pours neatly into the teapot or cup. I use it every day, and keep it filled on the back of the stove, just in case I need a quick splash of water while cooking. I haven't smacked it hard on the side of my old-fashioned enamal sink, but it has bumped it pretty good and not shattered. At this price, it could be replaced if it did break.

This is on my stovetop constantly, and it gets a lot of use. I find it attractive and easy to keep clean. Due to compact size, however, I can't use it on my big burners, so it takes a longer time to get to boiling, compared to my last teakettle. However, that probably saves on energy use.

It's a good staff with fashion style looking. Easy to use and clean. Whistling is a good design to prevent accident. Only one thing that is good enough is the handle become really hot when water is boiling. Don't lift it in hand. Better use oven glove.

making tea right in the kettle, glad for little wire underneath,making hot chocolate,can make soup in it, use cold water to water plants, see through, can use stainless steel scrubber on it, small, really the top lip should be of a heavier glass, doesn,t come in blue or red glass or green glass, or the handle and the stopper don't come in a rainbow of colors to match people's color motif in their kitchens.

Love being able to see how much water is in it. After using, I just turn upside down in dish drainer to drain..no spouts sticking out like in a regular teapot.
You do have to be careful to not hit it against something hard since it can crack. That happened to my glass kettle years ago, and since then I looked all over for another one. Glad I found this company.

I use this to boil water every morning. I hate the conventional tea kettles. You can't see what has accumulated on the inside of it. This is very easy to keep clean and it looks attractive on the stovetop.

I ordered this because I was tried of looking at my old kettle on the stove all the time. This is very well made and I like that you can see the water boiling if you don't want to use the top which whistles.

I wish the top had a push open to pour but that is what makes the whistling sound the snug top.

I too have ruined many tea kettles that didn't whistle and would run out of water. This definitely whistles to alert you that it's ready. I love being able to see how much water is in the pot. Some mentioned that the handle gets too hot and you have to use a pot holder. While the handle does get warm I haven't needed to use a pot holder. Maybe the other people were heating the pot on the large burner or letting the water boil too long. I do wish it didn't have all the writing on it but doesn't out weigh all the pluses.

I like this kettle, however, after each use there is a water line left in the pot which you have to use a bruse to clean because the opening is very small. It does heat rather quickly though and I will continue to use it.

I am really happy with my tea kettle. I was scared at first cuz it was glass, but it is great! I host a ladies group in my home once a week and I purchased this tea kettle because I wanted the ladies to be able to fix hot teas and cocoas. It looks great in my kitchen. It really blends in well instead of sticking out like so many tea kettles do. I can put it on and forget it because I know that the whistle will sound when it is ready. I wanted this kettle and with winter coming up the kettle would be used alot because I like drinking hot tea. The other thing I would use it for is boiling water and letting the steam come out to create humdity in my apartment to cut down on static electricity.

I love this kettle. It heats fast and holds enough water to fill 4 of my large tea mugs. The only con is that the plastic handle also gets pretty hot so I recommend using a potholder...otherwise I love it.

If the handle didn't get "a little too warm" this tea kettle would be perfect. I only heat up 5 cups of water at a time so the entire handle does not get hot but the lower portion does to the point of having to use a towel/pot holder to pour the water into my cup.

This tea kettle is very nice looking and heats evenly. The only problem is that you absolutely need a mitten to protect your hand from the handle that is too hot by the time the water reaches the boiling stage.

This is the only product that I will use to boil my tea for iced tea or hot. I have given many away and broken a few,but I always have to have at least one in reserve,just in case there is an accident or someone comments on how good my tea is and why theirs isn't as good, so I give them a pot to make it in and now theirs can be as good too. Glass is the only way to prepare tea in my book.

This is a nice kettle with the all glass feature. It is great for a gas stove but needs an element to be able to use it on an electric stove. The only disadvantage to this kettle is if you leave the "whistle" lid on, you have to remove it before pouring which is potential to burn.

Obviously there is no issue with product actually working because it boils water just fine. Unfortunetly it isn't particularly functional in the respect that you have to take the plastic top of to pour out the water. This is rather inconvient because the top which is plastic becomes extremely hot to touch as well as the handle that is used to pour the water out. It would have been much more effective if you could just pour the water out without removing the top.

I like this kettle. It is a very good alternative to electric stainless steel ones that sit on the countertop. Also, like a previous reviewer said, you can see the sediment and clean it properly. The water stays hot for a while, good for a refill for that cup of tea.
