Collapsibility is handy in kitchens w/ limited cabinet space. The photo shows a black handle of some sort but the product has a built-in handle, which is preferable to the one in the photo. Be sure to wash in its full open position. The gripper handle is a bit small, can't get a real good grip to pull the cover open. Store it with your lids, as it won't fit in a normal cabinet due to its diameter being larger than a plate (of course it is supposed to be larger in order to cover it properly).

I like that this cover is compact and can be easily hidden away and still handy next to the microwave. However, I only gave it three stars because I find it somewhat cumbersome to pop open. Maybe over time it will become easier? Overall, I thought it was a good purchase.

The collapsible cover is the best idea ever! I had to store my old one in the microwave when not in use. What a pain. Every time I needed to use the microwave, & didn't need a cover, I had to find a place to put it. This collapsible cover is fantastic. When not in use it takes up no space at all!

I bought two of these and they are great. However I do not use the collapsible feature as they are very hard to collaps and uncollaps. The disign and concept is great and saves clean up in the microwave but different matarial should be used in the collapsible part. Luckily I have enough space to keep the open all the time.

Works great and takes little space.

This was a much needed product for my kitchen. Covering food in the microwave with paper towels to prevent spattering always resulted in the paper towel's falling into the food and either absorbing liquid or adhering to melted cheese. This product saves my microwave while not coming in contact with the food. The only problem I have with it is that it is difficult to adjust for use. I get around this by leaving it in the fully open position and not trying to collapse it for storage.

I would purchase this product again.
