A nice idea. My daughter uses it to take cereal or yogurt w/granola to school for breakfast. Cons are that it is not dishwasher safe, and the ring to seal the liquid inside at the bottom of the cereal bowl is falling out after only one use. I would like to see sturdier construction. Better quality.

My husband likes taking cereal in his lunch because he leaves so early in the morning. This was perfect because it was compact to fit in the bag as well as keeping the milk cold with the gel bottom. You take your chances on the color and I was concerned when I got an orange one but he didn't care, so it depends on if color would be an issue. It's very functional and serves the purpose that we needed. I would definitely buy it again.

This thing is great when your trying to send hubby or others off with a good breakfast. It's not any faster then a pop tart but much better for you and it all folds back up and packs away back to one piece. Just don't loose the rubber band piece as it will leak without it.

I bought this container for my daughter to take her yogurt and cereal to work or school with her. she loves it. I am going to buy more of these for the rest of the family. you could use this for other food that needs to be kept chilled like tuna or chicken salad and put your crackers in the top. I see a lot of ways to use this container. it is small and easy to take along as well.

My kids love it - another option for lunch. Even my 6 year old can take it apart to use, and then put it together again without help. My 9 year old is picky about his food being cold & says his milk stays cold until lunch. So far no leaks, spills, or lost parts. No problems in the dishwasher. Not 5 stars because spoon seems a little flimsy, & because it's a little small. It holds plenty of milk, so we get around it just by packing a bag with extra dry cereal. Otherwise, good!

I use this to take my breakfast with me to work. I work very early hours and this allows me to have my morning cereal when it's convenient or have it as a quick snack later. I love the idea however the spoon is flimsy and suggest taking a spoon from your own silverware drawer.

I recently started working on an overnight shift. Since I do not like to eat heavy in the middle of the night, a cup of cereal with cold milk at 3:00 a.m. is the perfect meal. The gel cup works very well in keeping milk at the right temperature and the seal between milk cup and cereal bowl is reliable. The bowl holds a little more than a cup of your favorite mix which is great. The milk cup is adequate, but being a big guy and cereal fan, I could use maybe another 2 or 4 ounce capacity.

Another nice way to take it with you. I like to eat cereal for breakfast but don't always have time to eat before leaving for work. This product is a compact way to take breakfast with me without having to put my milk in the fridge at work and run the risk of forgetting to eat my breakfast.

However, there are three things I'm not ecstatic about: since I like to eat a lot of cereal at one sitting, the 12-oz cereal compartment doesn't hold enough cereal to fill me up at breakfast time; I'd prefer more than the 5.7 oz of milk that the milk compartment holds, even for 12 oz of cereal; the spoon (which folds in half and has a spot in the lid of the cereal compartment) kept folding up while I was using it, making it difficult to eat.

This product may be better-suited for children than adults, or for anyone who can be satisfied with the amounts of cereal and milk that it holds.

The first time I tried to use it, I forgot to freeze the milk container the night before. When I got to work, I had to add ice cubes to chill my milk. I love this product. I initially got it for my girls because in our house everything seems rushed. The cereal on the go bowl set is great. I bought 3 of them and gave two to my son and his wife and they loved them to. I love this thing! It's sitting on my desk right now waiting for me to get hungry. I wait a little bit becuase right now the milk has ice chunks in it. I haven't had a leaking problem with it, but it stands up in my bag and doesn't roll around. I don't really care for the spoon, though. It's oddly shaped and almost too deep if that makes sense. I just don't use it, which is fine. I dind't buy it for the spoon, so it still works perfectly! The milk is always cold and it holds the perfect portion. Just wonderful!

I manage a convience store and you never know when you can get a
bite of breakfast, & watching my sugars and fat it is so easy to put
cereal in and then eat when you are ready.
I sometimes pick it up to eat and then can't eat it for an hour or so,
but the freezer bottom keeps it cold for ever so long.

I got my Cereal on the Go for a week now and I wanted to test it before I gave my review.The first two days,I had leakage of milk. I know I tighted good b/c I read several reviews saying theirs also leaked.The rubber ring seal that holds the milk and the ceral in between could be alittle thicker.The trick for that is to tear a piece of plastic seal wrap and put it between the two items. I had no more leaks. Other than that, I get oooh's and ahhh's about it from friends.

I originally saw this product on the TODAY show and thought it was a great idea. Anytime you try to bring milk to work, it can do a number of things...but the worst is get warm. This is such a simple design. You put your cereal in the top and then your milk in the bottom that screws onto the top. No leaking...no getting warm, because the bottom is a cold pack you put in the freezer. I use mine at least 3 days a week. Buy one, you will NOT be sorry!

This little gadget is great for cereal on the go! It has a good portion size, and comes with everything you need.

The only down fall is that once you freeze the bottom cup (for the milk storage) it freezes your milk when you first pour it in. You either have to wait for the cup to thaw out, or run it under warm water. The manufacturer does disclose this in their instructions.

i have been looking for so long for some type of carrier so i could bring cereal and milk to work. this is so easy. i put the coldpak end in the freezer at night. Next morning, fill the top part with cereal, fill the bottom part w/milk and i'm ready to go. i LOVE the collapsible spoon. And the milk isn't just cool - it is ice cold!

the only down side is the connection of the two. if you don't get it screwed on exactly right, you will get leaks.

I purchased this product because I recently began a weight loss program and needed to begin eating breakfast. Since I have to be at work early and do not like to wake up extremely early I carry my breakfast and lunch to work. This container is a godsend and holds just the right amount of milk and cereal. The gel part for the milk keeps it cold for at least two hours and I don't have to worry about taking a spoon because it has one attached to the lid. I also purchased the Salad Chiller and the Deluxe Lunch Chiller. They are both excellent products and I have recommended them to my family and friends. I have actually bought them for my daughter-in-law and she loves them. It allows her time to eat at ease and save the extra dollars spent on meals as it does me. My son takes this to school or when he wants a snack. You just have to remember to put the bottom portion in the freezer every night which is easy to do!!

I ordered a Cereal-on-the-Go cup on a whim, wanting a way to bring breakfast to work without having to keep milk in our break room fridge or cereal, bowls, and spoons on hand in the office. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these cups worked, especially for the price. You just freeze the bottom cup and then when you're ready to go, take it out, add your milk, and put your cereal in the top. The screw-top that holds the cereal part to the milk is very well made and I've had no problems with spills, even when it fell over in the car! It also holds a perfect proportion of cereal to milk, and a perfect serving of cereal, even shredded mini-wheats!

It has kept my milk cold and fresh for over 2 hours, and the spoon included in the lid is an extra nice touch. If you have big hands, the spoon might be a little small and you can't choose which color you get (I ended up with a green and an orange, as a friend had me order them one too). Otherwise, these cups have no cons that I can think of. I highly recommend them! My only recommendation is to let the milk cup sit out of the freezer for about 10 minutes before adding the milk, to avoid freezing the milk on the edges :)

remember to run under warm water if frozen to return milk to room temperature otherwise the product works as advertised Im satisfied with the results
