I have french doors that open to my kitchen/dining area and it get's soo hot when cooking that I had to open the doors, but hated the flies and other bugs that came in. I always wished I had screen doors that didn't interfere with the look, but the only thing I could find was a system that rolls into doorframe and hides when not in use-but not only is that product very expensive (approx [$]) it wasn't available in the right size. When I saw this product I thought it might be flimsy but thought I'd give it a try...and I am sooo glad I did!! It is well made, surprisingly sturdy...and best of all it not only cools off the kitchen, but it also acts as a cross breeze to the rest of the house and cools it down considerably. I haven't turned on the air conditioner since! My dog and cat's have figured out how to go through it, so now they don't scratch at the door to be let in/out! When done, I just roll it up and stand it in a corner of the closet. It goes up/down in 30 seconds! And...yay!-no more sweaty cook! Don't even think twice just buy it...it will pay for itself by the money saved on a/c.

I use this product on two doors in my old (1950's) apartment that lead onto a balcony. I don't have central AC, so being able to open these doors is a great way to get some air and a cross-breeze during warm spring days. They do an effective job keeping out bugs and dirt, and my dog has finally figured out how to go in and out. Sure, they'd be even better if they included a few more magnetic points in the seam, or more velcro enclosures for the door frame, but even without those, they still work really well.

This is wonderful if you have pets that can go outside. Our little dogs learned very quickly that they can go out all by themselves. The only con. is that when the wind blows the screen will split on its own and open allowing bugs to come inside. I am glad we purchased this screen door.

Currently living in a apartment, this allows me to have the ability to open my front door, let the fresh air in, while maintaining privacy. This product is easy to put up and take down without any damage to the walls or frame of my door. Other neighbors have stopped by, requesting information on how to order, and most of all it is affordable. The down side of this product it that since it is so simple to put up or take down, living in a apartment could be a high exposure of someone stealing the screen. (Never leave up over night)

This screen is very sturdy, the only problem I had was the top clip doesn't hold the rod and screen. I also feel you should be able to order this either with right or left opening. I had to install in backwards because I have a right side opening french door.

We are using the product to keep houseflies out of the house. We have two dogs that need to go out a lot during the day, and when opening/closing the door, lots of flies would get in. This product serves that purpose. It's also great because the dogs can get in/out through it without me having to open a screen door or remove a barrier that would keep the dogs in (they can get through the screen on their own). Some complaints I have are a) it needs more velcro on the sides to keep the screen covering the entire door (only has two tiny strips per side), and b) the screen part is not as sturdy as I need it (where the dogs have scratched to get back inside, I noticed it is fraying/ripping). Have been using the product for about two weeks now and thus far am very happy with it!

Concept is good but the execution of this screen misses the mark. Because the magnets that hold the screen together are so heavy duty, my dogs have had difficulty getting it opened to come in and out. Then, they have pulled the velcro of the casing of the door that holds the screen in place which has pulled off paint. Overall, though the product is worthwhile and has cut down on the # of bugs entering our home.

When I open the slider off the water and the bedroom windows in the bedroom I still didn't get any ventilaton going and the apt. stayed hot. I am so very pleased with this screen door substitute. I live in an apartment and I did not want to invest in a screen door. Since I am on the top floor it can get pretty hot in the summer time. I attached this screen to the door of my porch and leave the door open for some refreshing cool air. This screen is easy to install and store. If you do not want to invest in a screen door but need something to keep the critters out - I would highly recommend this product. I am completely satisfied.

It was very easy to install and looks good. However, it needs more than two tabs to attach the sides. I had to buy velcro and attach it to the entire length of each sides. It made it more secure and kept the bugs out. It was also a little long, but doable.

Overall, this item beats the $900.00 to install an "invisible" screen. Last summer's heat/bugs were too much, so now the French doors can be opened. Cat thinks it's great, although he has chewed off a small corner and pulled it down once, but that was a quick lesson. Dog 1 could go through if he gave it a chance. Dog 2 has managed just fine. When I add another pocket at the top to shorten (sewing machine nec'y) the screen will probably latch nicely on the magnet, and we'll stop stepping on the overhang and crashing the screen and rod to the floor. The left to right width fits perfectly. I am not putting much faith in the Velcro strips since they are sticking to a wood jamb, but so far so good. Let the wider part of the screen close first then release the narrower, that way the magnets will meet the proper way and latch. If you do it the other way, the magnets will not attract. Smartly, manufacturer has moved the opening to left-of-center so the usually-open door of my French doors can be easily accessed. When both doors are open, there is still no problem.

This is a clever item, and once you get used to its little quirks you will be glad you bought it.

We have two sets of double french doors out to our deck and were having a difficult time finding screen doors, since ours are not sliding doors both sides open completely. Saw this and figured it could hurt to try. They were extremely easy to install. And work well. They only thing I would suggest to improve is to have velco all the way down the sides and more magnets in the opening. But we haven't had any bugs come in and now we can keep the french doors open to allow the breeze in. Great product!!

Living in a townhome without air conditioning in the summer can be miserable! By installing this on our back door, it makes it possible to leave it open to create a cross breeze without having to deal with all the flying pests! It also provides great access for my dog to go in and out as she pleases. The only problem I've experienced is that my dog is large, (100 lbs.), and often bounds through the doorway. The magnet on the botttom will often attatch itself to the metal door instead of swinging back to the other magnet leaving open gap at the bottom. Over all this is a great help in solving a lot of problems and the one issue I have would not stop me from purchasing one again.
