I expected from the picture for the mugs to be more primary colors than the pastels that they ended up being. I had been looking at them for quite a while until I saw them in your clearance items, and liked the price, but didn't notice the change in colors of the cups. I purchased this product mainly for the cup rack itself. I needed something to display my seasonal mugs during the fall & Christmas seasons. I like the everyday cups that come with it, though some of the colors are a little dull, such as the pink, but the yellow and blue are good vibrant colors. Although this is a nice product, it is not as pictured. The colors are actually very pastel (muted) in color and I have bright colors in my kitchen and they are totally straight on the rim. Everyone in our family prefers a slight outward rim on a cup and that is what it appeared like to me in the picture. So it was totally unacceptable for me. Because it is a nice item, I gave it as a gift to someone with milder colors in their kitchen.

Good-looking on the counter top -adds a rainbow riot of color. Colors of the mugs are not too bright but they stand out. I like stainless steel/chrome so the stand is a plus. Mugs are nice and heavy, remind me of restaurant-ware/Buffalo china. I had a couple of large mugs but they heated up so much in the microwave that I had to use potholders to handle them. I bought a set of these for my mother about 2 months ago because she doesn't have any large mugs and she loves them too. If you have a number of people they can choose their color and everyone will always know that's "their" mug as a side-benefit. Too bad these are made in China as I'd prefer to buy American, but they're still really nice, and the value can't be beat. Would make a great gift.

I bought my first one for myself. Then when my son moved into his own home with his buddies, I bought a second set as a gift for him! Theses mugs are DURABLE, Dishwasher or sink washable, comforable to hold, just the right size and nice looking. The rack is nice space saver! You can hang the mugs near the coffee pot and always have them ready for the "First cup-o-de-day!". Since I got them on line- I could have my son's shipped to him a gift, so it was a nice surprise for him! Gave him a "little reminder of home" in his new place!

I love these mugs! They have a great heft and hold a good amount of whatever beverage your inclined to be drinking. These were for a friend who is bedridden, but she gets a ton of visitors!! Often you would find yourself runing up and down the stairs refilling your cup, because they were so small - they came with her everyday china. Well, not anymore! Now we can actually talk awhile before our beverage gets cold or our mugs becomes empty. Plus, they look great and everyone can find them, because, with the mug stand, they can set right next to the coffee pot!!

I actually returned this set, only because I bought it for style (looks). The colors look very vibrant in the picture, but they are actually more pastel, which does not match my decor. This mug set is beautiful....and brings some needed bright color to my kitchen. It is really too heavy for me as I have carpel tunnel and arthritis in my right wrist. It does not keep my coffee hot as long as I would like but the beauty of the set makes it worthwhile to own.

The mugs were are great size. Perfect for coffee tea and everything else. They are colorful and wash great in the dishwasher. The guys in my family even commented on them! The cup holder is the perfect size for under counter. I like bright colors that will last wash after wash and these do. They are made in China but since I'm not sick yet I assume they are safe.
