This is the second set of towels I purchased. The first set were not satisfactory, for me. The threads were only of the 420 count. I'm a tall guy and this just would not due. Could be good for someone else. I then moved up to the 720 thread brand and am very pleased with my purchase. The bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths are certainly big enough for my use. If you want a large, thick towel, hand towel, wash cloth, then this is the set to buy. The difference is the thread count. Get the 720 thread count for the heavier duty use. Further, they wash well. I wash them in a warm/cold cycle, easy care cycle on my washer and with the colored clothes. Yes, I am happy to recommend these to others for purchase. *(I think I got the thread count correct, but just go with the higher count).

After purchasing 2 sets, I have come back to offer this review, (did not offer review first time when buying). I am very pleased with these towels. I am 6'5" and they are plenty big for my use. The colors are fine, at least to me. They wash well and I followed the washing instructions and do not use hot water, and I use a mid level drying cycle, not the hottest. You are well served if you purchase these towels, or a set. I purchased two sets and am happy with the purchase.

Although I do like the absorbency and color of the towels, they appear to be what I consider "seconds". The distance from the decoration on the towel to the actual end of the towel, varies from one towel to another. It's quite noticeble when you have the towels hanging in the bathroom as sometimes it's a big difference!

I ordered the Acorn color featured in a recent catalog. What arrived was more of a Chocolate color; darker than I'd hoped for. The towels had to be washed and dried THREE times to remove only 95% of the excess lint and fuzz -- I don't recall ever having to do that much towel washing before even using! The weight is almost too heavy for my liking but they're of good quality and value for the set price. They are quite absorbent and only require one blot on the skin to soak up water droplets. Other towels are more of a velour and aren't absorbent, but these definitely are! I would probably not buy these again only because I like a slightly lighter-weight towel.

I would buy this product again.

These towels are nice and thick, although I don't know how long they will last as the weave appears to be rather loose. The edges are stitched rather than woven. Since I just got them I don't know how well they will hold up with repeated laundering. I anticipate the stitching to come out rather soon and I will likely have to restitch them when that happens.

i had bought the bath sheet to try this out and it was great but when i finally ordered the set, the color completely bled, it was so bad that they looked like tie dye towels, and i had just rinsed them with ONLY water. i dont know if i got a bad batch or what, but im waiting to return my item & retry again, hopefully it will be better next time :-/

When I saw the bargain basement price of these towels, I was hesitant to buy them without seeing them. I am so glad I took the chance! These are the best every day towels I've ever bought. These towels are replacing some that I have bought from department stores that I was so unhappy with.They had lost their color so early and didn't last as long as I thought they should. I decided to buy at the right time because I bought the chubby sets at a great discount allowing me to buy plenty. I have a Great supply so I should never run out of towels with company. The washcloths are the best I have bought and love the thickness of them. Just the right amount of thickness to feel perfect to the body.

I will buy towels again from Brylane Home as long as they keep up such great quality.
