Can't say I've really tried out these towels yet. I have washed them right when I got them, and they shed like crazy. They are not as thick as I would have liked them to be. Color is nice and vibrant though. If you like thick towels, these aren't for you. If you want towels that will dry quick and don't care about the thickness these will do.

These are thin lightweight towels, but great for the kids, dogs, or hand towels in a spare bathroom. I would not give these towels as a gift, but they are definitely worth the money for the uses mentioned.

You do need to wash several times to get all the fuzz off before you use them. I also recommend softner in the rinse to make them nice and fluffy!

I've been looking for a towel that isn't huge or too thick. When you are trying to save money and space, a towel that is too thick takes too long to dry. You need to wash before you use these towels, color will bleed on the first wash.When drying in the dryer the lint catcher pick up a lot from the towels, but over all I'm satisfied with my towels.

I KNOW these are cheap towels but I really dislike thick towels. These towels dry when you hang them up. I am constantly shopping for thinner towels. I washed the towels b4 using them. Some of the stitching came out. (on two of the towels) It happens. Still usable. Not bad for the price.

I wasn't too thrilled when I first opened the packaging, but once I washed the towels they fluffed up nicely. They feel sooo good and absorb really well. The thickness is just perfect for general use and drying quickly when laundered. They also LOOK great so they are ideal for bathroom decor. i NEVER write reviews on products that i purchase, but i couldn't resist on these towels! they are fantastic! i just washed and used them for the first time, and they are so soft, beautiful color and sooo high quality! they wash beautifully- the bands at the edges do not shrink up at all in the dryer and the color stayed true. the towels are a bit thin, but i don't mind that at all given the great quality. if you are wary about buying towels without seeing/feeling them, as i was, you've got a sure bet with these towels!

Very soft, nice colors. The solids are better quality than the stripes. The striped towels are too thin, poorer quality. I ordered a set of solids and a set of stripes. I wound up returning the stripes for another solid set. Sizes are decent but it should be 4 bath towels not 3.

These tiles are a nice purchase but I suggest washing them before use because they are rather stiff and using a little fabric softner really helped.

It is usually true that you do get what you pay for. I expected from so many other reviews, that these would not be big plushy towels. The price was right after having used a coupon, so I got some. I was not too happy after washing them the first time. They were already showing signs of wear. I couldn't believe all the threads and pulls. Mostly coming from the edges. Very frayed and ratty looking. They looked more used than the ones I was replacing. Those, I'd had for years but were still in decent condition. I just wanted some new ones. They did absorb and dry quickly, as does any towel, really. I don't expect them to last very long. I think they will wear out quickly as they are rather thin. I will be keeping them because we can always use extra hair towels in my house.

These are pretty decent towels. I washed them twice before actually using them because the color bled so badly. I have also had issues with them shedding little lint balls. I have since shaken them out really well and washed them again and they are fine. Nice and soft and also absorbant. Not a high end product, but a good value for the price.

While I am a budget shopper, I could have bought better quality at this price elsewhere. I washed and dried according to directions. When placed in the dryer (on low), a ton of the towel weight ended up in the lint filter. I had to clean out the filter 3 or 4 times. Should not have shrunk with cold water and cool dry, but they did.
The color is nice. They will just be used as extra's, when absolutely needed.

I was looking for a set of towels that would 1) fit into the shelf space in my bathroom, and not be so oversized and bulky, and 2) I was looking for something that would be a good bargain.
These towels are,....I bought white ones, and they are always in use. I liked the first set so much, I ordered a second set!
As to whether they will withstand many washings,......we'll have to see what happens over time.

I was expected really soft towels, but thats not what I got. The towels are too thin and aren't as fluffy as I was expecting. These are towels that I'll definitely have to replace within six months to a year. The towels are definitely on the average side.

One piece was missing and when I opened the package I was surprised that there were so many edges frayed and strings that had to be cut off.

I think I could get a set in better shape at WM, etc. for the same price or maybe less and not have to pay shipping costs.

While these towels are long enough, they are far too narrow. It wasn't a bad deal since I got a set of 12 for [$].I like large towels, and will have to add the matching bath sheets for use after showers & baths. The color (Elm) is very pretty.

These towels are nice - and very colorful. But if your used to big bath towels - these are not. I put the solid and stripe together and I like the look - but not as absorbant as I'd like - but I'm not disappointed.For the money - they're a good set of towels.

These towels come packed tightly together in a small package and when you remove them from the package they look like cheap thin discount towels, but once they are washed they become soft and fluff up very nicely. Very absorbent. I especially like the hand towels - perfect weight and size. My husband loves the bath towels. The washcloths are the perfect size and weight. The only con I can think of is that the bath towels are a little bit too small.

I really like the color. It brightens up my bathroom but they are not as thick as I would have hoped. Still they are a great value and serve their purpose well.

These are decent towels. Very soft right out of the package, and even more so after washing. The washcloths are very attractive; nicely hemmed, and large. However, the entire set is thin. The description given with the product had me thinking I'd get these wonderfully thick, thirsty towels...not so at all. The color also was a disapointment. I ordered the "banana" shade...was going for a bright, sunshiney bathroom. Purchased the Scenario shower curtain in banana, which is a nice yellow, and the rugs, which perfectly match the curtain. The towel set in "banana" is...orange. It still looks ok in my bathroom, but I'd have much prefered that the towels match a bit better.

To wrap up:

- too thin
- nice and soft
- best use, I think, would be as decorative, or guest bath...also travelling, as they don't take up much space in a bag.

I Like the towels, the colors are bright, and they washed and dried good without shrinking up.I Wish the bath towels were a bit bigger. When I received them ( I bought 2 sets) both sets were short a bath towel.(Maybe that's why they were on Sale!!) I was going to send back, but decided not too. Figured would be to much of a hassle. I will send back if I decide to order more and it happens again though!!

I moved into my first home, and my 10 year old son has his own bathroom..so I bought him 2 sets of these..one in tourgoise, and other in orange...and they were really great...when I need more towels, this will be my choice...it would make a great gift too for bridal shower or wedding..I like all the color choices..the only thing I would change about it..is to have 4 of each...would have preferred 4 bath towels, instead of 6 washcloths...

The only problem I have is the lack of color fastness. The first use or wash, it runs terribly, should not be washed with oter items. I bought the turquoise and was so dismayed at first use. They do not seem to have faded badly, but that remains to be seen. They are very soft and absorbant so you take the good with the other.

I bought these towels because they matched the bright tropical fish theme in my 3 yr. old's bathroom exactly. They are definitely not high quality towels, but are fine for someone who is going to wipe their dirty face, hands, and feet on them, leave them laying on the floor, and walk all over them. This set was purchased as a gift for my son, who really liked the bright tangerine color. These towels certainly give a "color punch" but the quality isn't up to par with higher quality towels offered by Brylane. They'll be fine for showering and poolside. Just be aware of the absorbancy factor. All in all, product is as advertised.

I ordered the solid color towels, liked them so much, I ordered the Atlantic Stripe. I'm thinking I need to also order the other solid color towels to match each stripe. These towels are not too thick, not too thin, dry quickly and are great for our annual trip to the Jersey Shore House.

I was skeptical at first, but only because the description says the bath towels are 25" X 30"...but I read the previous reviews and nobody mentioned this. I got the towels and they're fabulous! Soft, gorgeous bright colors, not too thick. The catalog size is obviously a misprint since the bath towels are actually 25" X 50". We have 5 people in our house and towels that are big and thick take up too much room in the washing machine/dryer and the cabinets. We're just drying off with them, not living in them! These are perfect towels and the price is unbeatable!

These towels are perfect to have to add that color to your bathroom. They are absorbent and soft but you have to wash them before you use them because of the heavy dye/color used. The washing should also take away the excess that sheds/comes off. with this useful inofrmation these towels should last a long time. I like them and have more than one set.
